Badiallo recognized from a young age the joy, impact, and importance of communicating thoughts, ideas, interests, and emotions with others. As a first-generation individual born to Malian immigrants in New York City, communication became Badiallo’s way of sharing unique and underrepresented perspectives with the world. Discovering graphic design nearly a decade ago opened a path for Badiallo to express these thoughts and viewpoints in ways that words alone could not capture. Badiallo found meaning in realizing that the people who resonated with the work didn’t always share the same background but connected through shared experiences and emotions. As a graphic designer and communicator, Badiallo continues to craft art that speaks across boundaries, driven by a desire to engage with and inspire a diverse audience.

Innergex Mock Branding



Mock branding created through CCNY x Pentagram program (2022)

Elektra Records is a record label company that represents artists that play contemporary folk and rock music. For this brand identity, my inspiration was based on how a record spins and how the artwork and words on records distort as it plays music.Innergex is an energy company that includes services for wind, hydro, and solar energy. The concept for this brand identity is based on dots. I based the 9 dots on the 9 main principles that the company promised to customers. I then built animations from those dots and turned the logo into an animation that feels like electricity.
